"The hotel was still under construction when we went there but it was not a problem. All the staff was very kind and helpful. The room (standard) was big enough, nice and clean. The beach is small but enough to swim. The resort is a bit far from every thing so it may not be a good place to stay if you do not have your own transport. But all the rest was very good. We will probably go again to this resort." | ||
"What a fantastic chef!! the staff is laid back, reliable and polite. The walk on the beach to the right leads to a public park and many interesting small simple shops and restaurants:walk to the left and see the fisherman and assortment of people enjoying life.Only suggestion:Serve more Thai wines,cooking lessons from the chef(even for hamburgers!),advertise the tours more with greater detail(We had a great tour),lower the price of transport from Big C to the resort,and offer a cultural show of Petchaburi somewhere. This is a great place to read, bring a family and to have a moderate sized business meeting where you actually want to accomplish something. I definitely will go back. Problem: I should recommend the place to my organization...do not want to..keep it to myself..great internet access from room. staff should give or sell mosqiyo repellant during rainy season..not a major problem but easily avoidable. I am from Texas..big mosquitos..big bites;Petchaburi mosquitos are small, sneaky and innocent..not so!! "The atmosphere of the resort was great-- quiet and relaxing. I love the wet deck at the pool, and the gardens are lovely. As there were not many guests during my stay, I expected a bit better service. There were no towels at the pool on 2 of the days, and a room service order took 2 hours one lunch time. We had a car and drove out for most meals as the food was below the quality I had expected from the resort (except for breakfast which was great).I would stay here again if I were once again traveling with my young grandchildren. "Cozy hotel with a lot of greens in territory. Very nice bungalow close to the sea. Relax & loneliness. However it is necessary to know that there is no place to go in the evening, it is a small village. The transfer to Hua Hin is expensive (40km). "Very nice place for family and group. Large area. Room is large (For 2 bedroom suite) Room is a bit old and curtain in bedroom is not suitable for bedroom but for living room. It can not protect others to see what is inside Bedroom.Many mosquito too.Nice staffs, but not too good for food in restaurant.Very far from Huahin and not easy to find out the hotel." | ||

"We were disappointed by the hotel amenities: could not open the villa door onto the terrace, no chairs nor table for the terrace, pool under repair, tennis courts in dismal condition. Also, we were the only guests and this gave the feeling of a ghost hotel! I think we know why <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" | ||

"Very nice and pleasant hotel. Wonderful garden, confortable beds,cleaned every day, houses very calm, we did not hear noise, swimming pool beautiful. Nice staff but sometimes difficult because they dont speak much english. But restaurant dont offer so much different food and we stayed 6 days so sometimes it was difficult to eat the same food, very spicy!! No another restaurant near the hotel and beach is very pleasant but not very clean.Hotel is about (18km) far from Cha am and about 40 km far from Hua Hin so it is necessary to pay taxi (200 baths and 700 baths one way)Good hotel if you want to rest, to meet Thaïs people, to stay far from tourists.Very good if you have kids. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" | ||

Very fast and easy. Also no need to worry about the payment security. However, after paying for a room via Sawasdee.com, I have found another site providing a cheaper rate (of a same room, same date)., August 20, 2008
"Firstly, I was a little disappointed that the hotel didn t inform me at first that there would be a construction at the beach and tourists were not allowed to walk pass during weekdays. I think they should let all guests know before they make a decision and pay for a room.However, after arriving, I found out that Fisherman s Village is great (regardless that construction). Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are ok (Internet wi-fi is free of charge if you bring your own laptop). All houses seem so packed and close to each other, but we still felt of a privacy. We stayed in a garden view room (1 bedroom). A room was smaller than expected and TV screen was small. Food is ok. During weekday, breakfast will be served for you upon the choice you select. During weekend, breakfast will be provided as a buffet.I would visit Fisherman s Village again, mainly due to the best service mind :) <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
